Fighting Florida Museum Exhibit Opening Reception

Travel back in time and discover the key figures who made their mark on Central Florida during the colonial era when you visit the Museum of Seminole County History—now through Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Visitors can explore the stories of Spanish missionaries, British surveyors, revolutionaries, persecuted religious groups, and more. Learn about notable figures such as John and William Bartram, who camped near Lake Jesup in 1763, along with other influential people from Florida’s early history.
